Spiritual Growth and Meditation

In the world, we are aware of growth and progress. We see it all around us, constantly. We see growth in a baby‘s body over many years. We watch trees, plant life, and animals grow. We see progress in businesses, technological advances, even politics and cultures, although not always progressing forward! In the same way, we must become aware of Spiritual Growth. As we experience Spiritual Progression, or Spiritual Growth, we gain more understanding about our relationship with God (our Creator). We also begin to notice that our lives can be more useful.

Too many people are only thinking about dying and going to heaven. They want to escape from the world that we live in. Unfortunately, the average person looks at spiritual things as “out of this world,” as if spirituality has nothing to do with everyday life.

The question that we ask ourselves is this: What should I think about? What should I do? What should I try to experience? The only way to answer these questions is to look deep inside of ourselves- to look within. To realize the truth, we must understand ourselves. We must understand our relationship with God and our relationship with other people. The way to reach that goal is: Meditation.
